Katarina has always taken an interest in the deeper meaning of life. Through her mother, who was a great inspiration and teacher on this path, she met people involved with Reiki healing and Kundalini Yoga. She immediately sensed with Kundalini Yoga that something else was hidden within the exercises. For two years, she studied with Anastasija Preložnik who was the first to teach Kundalini Yoga in Slovenia. She later deepened her knowledge with foreign instructors (Subakh Kaur, Kart Singh, Hari Har Ji, Ardas Kaur, and others).
Katarina completed Level 1 of Kundalini Yoga in Amrit Nam Sarovar’s Kundalini Yoga School in France under the mentorship of the instructor Kart Singh. After that, she began to teach lessons independently. In March 2010 she continued her studies of Kundalini Yoga at the second level. Since 2011 Katarina’s work and life was expanded and enriched by the techniques of Sat Nam Rasayan founded on the same yoga discipline.
Katarina graduated from university in physiotherapy and is employed at the Orthopedic Clinic in Ljubljana. She teaches Kundalini Yoga every Thursday at 8.15 PM.
